    Default wiring issue

    i put a one inch body lift on my 06 LJ and now my parking light fuse is blowing. seems to me like i pinched a wire somewhere. anyone else experience this?

    No issues with wiring here after installing the 1 inch body lift on my 06 LJ. The only thing that happened to my jeep was the auto shut off does not work anymore when I fill up the tank. Not sure why and I cannot see anything pinched or pulled off, but it sucks because you have to kind of listen for when it sounds like the gas is getting near the top.

    that didn't happen on my '04 TJ but check the wires to your rear taillights above the inner wheelwell liner. On the right rear, your EVAP canister is right against the back of the taillights so you might have caught those wires accidentally.

    yeah i checked all the wiring from my front parking lights to the fender wall - battery - left side - firewall - all harnesses under dash - left side interior - back to the left rear "trunk" area - to both rear light housing. i didn't see any bare wire but after i moved everything around and tried the parking lights again, everything worked! the problem is fixed......for now. took the rear light housings off. they have a ton of play. didn't think that was the problem but thanks for all the help guys!
