Default Rear Bumper Tire Carrier Latch

Guys my rear latch rattles like heck and I see alot of the bumper tire carriers with little red handle latches. Do you know where I can get on. Thanks, Jim

Jim, contact Bersrk. Haven't heard from him in a while here, but try here, NOVA, and BWJ. He's built a lot of our bumpers with the handles you're talking about.

The key to his bumpers is the latch AND the way he mounts them at an angle to pull in and down at the same time.
Marines...shoot me a PM if you have not received an invitation to the Jarhead Jeepers social group on this site and would like to be a member.

Yes....awesome quality. Check it out. I think you can search the boards for a thread done solely on his work. I know that Pacifier, USMCHJG, miljeep, myself, and a number of others has his work on our rigs.

Good deal, I'll look him up. I've been considering a new rear bumper and tire carrier.

I get the latches from Mcmaster Carr.. Part # 5071A62

It's a "De Sta Co" Pull-Action Toggle Clamp with a 2000lb holding capability and the "Toggle Plus" safety trigger to prevent accidental opening.. it's a nice latch.. about $45.
