LOLOLOL... $1350 steering? I got charged $250 at the corner shop from my office to replace the pump and lines.. and that place is usually expensive. (BTW, Yates shop in Kingstown has a killer Military Discount)
So, I checked my mail today and found a letter stating that my Jeep Warranty is expiring or has expired. They want me to sign up for their extended warranty program and they give me some stats about the costs of repairs if I don't have a /their warranty.
Here are the costs that they listed to fix on my vehicle if I don't have a warranty.
$750.00 water pump
$825.00 alternator
$4800 transmission
$3800 Engine
$1350 steering
$3800 engine computer
$785 window motor (Don't have one anyway)
$740 wiper motor
I guess I should hurry and call, they must have some invisible tracking beacon embedded into the letter I got because I my vehicle will only be authorized for the up to 6 years of extended warranty coverage for 72 hours from me receiving the notice.

I got one of those for my wife's Tuscon the other day. They must be looking into the future because her warranty still has 45,000 on the bumper to bumper. I guess they like to start early.
Way out of control
Hilarious. You know how many "Final Notice" cards we got on my wife's jetta? Nine from the same company. Funny.
hmmm....I got a $300 discount certificate in the mail today because my warranty is about to run out....Apparently I was part of a "small marketing test" and I "have been selected to recieve a $300 Loyal Ower Certificate"!!! WOOOO! oh wait, from the looks of it that won't even touch any repairs i might need. oh well, guess i won't run out and cash that Loyalty Check! LMFAO!!! they are tracking us all! beware!

I got one like that, use it to burn something LOL
We just bought my wifes 09 Dodge Journey, and it's got that huge chrysler warranty thing, yet we still get those in the mail. Gotta love fishing attempts. You'd be surprised the number of idiots who fall for it though.

that is NOT through Chrysler... Extended warranty companies use the Freedom of Information act to get owner information, and send out these letters... don't even bother calling them. If you are interested in getting an extended warranty(there ARE good ones out there), I'd recommend visiting the Jeep dealership closest to your new home once your transfer is complete.
