    Default driveshaft fitment

    ok so as most of you know i just got the 4.0 swap running. so now i am in need of drive shafts (i knew this going in) my question is will the drive shaft from the 4cyl (CV shaft for my 8.8) and stock t/c skid work with the 6cyl and a belly up? i know the 4cyl shaft is longer then the 6cyl, and i know the d/s for a belly up is longer then stock skid, so it should work just wanted to know if anyone knew for sure

    Not sure if the driveshafts will work, but based on what you said above, it sounds like it would work.

    you should make sure by measuring them, can"t remember if it was on Tom Woods web site or Pirate but there was a really good write up on how to properly measure

    Measure center cap of u joint to center cap of u joint. Nothing too difficult.

    when I did my dana 44 front end swap I had to have my front DS shortened and the shop here in Yuma said you want 2in of play......dont know if that is true or inportant od not.
