Default Installed the Fenders and Hood Vent today

Nate (notarubicon), Kevin (from the Belvoir auto shop and also my neighbor) and myself installed the fenders from Mountain Valley Customs and the hood vents from AtoZ Fabrication today in my driveway. They appear to have installed well, but we have some touching up to do that we could not do tonight. Tomorrow I am going to try to bring it by the auto shop to hook up the turn signals and work on getting some bolts in the hood vent that did not want to go in easily tonight.

Yes, I know, if there are no pics it did not happen, but trust me, it did. We have plenty of photos, but the photos I tried to take of the finished product did not come out too well in the dark. I will try to take some photos tomorrow if we get everything done.

Question though, if I bought little LED marker lights from Wally World, will they work as a turn signal?

Are you using the little LEDs for front/rear turn signals or side marker lights on the fenders... it may make a difference...

For example... in my state, front turn signals must be amber, and rear turn signals must be amber or red. And when illuminated must be seen at a distance of 500 ft.

they are amber led lights from wally world. They are about 2 inches in length and about 3/4 high with two leds in the middle. They only have two wires coming out of them and it looked like three wires coming from the stock turn signals.

We are moving to TX in Nov, so I have to dig around and see if I can find there rules on the front turn signals.

    Hand Signals are your friend:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cycling_hand_signals
In some countries (such as in the Czech Republic [1], Canada, and the USA), hand signals are designated not only for cyclists, but for every vehicle that does not have signal lights or has damaged signal lights. For example, drivers of historical cars and mopeds may be required to make hand signals.

Looks good. Now you just need to replace the rear bushwhackers and sell the set to me as used..
