Doing the swap was really easy. The hardest part was doing the alignment myself. Just alot of tweaking, no, not twerking, tweaking
Thumping is gone, but creaking still there. More likely from the lift.

Very nice upgrade. Stock parts that are beefier. They should have done that from the factory.

I got them from rock auto. There was a good write up on JeepForum. Stu Olsen has a webpage that has part numbers. There just ZJ parts, beefier than stock TJ. Dont think would fit a CJ, but no idea.
Only issue I ran across was the grease boot split on the drag link.

The ZJ upgrade won't work with a CJ. I used a piece of pipe and sleeved the stock tie rod, but you can get aftermarket ones that are beefier.

For the Ball joints, use Good Quality ones!! Especially if you are running bigger tires.

The cheap ball joints won't last, maybe get 6 months out of them.

Sway Bar: Not really needed on a CJ (if you still have leaf springs)

They installed them on early models that came with a hard top, and on later models to help with roll overs at highway speed.

Some even have a trac bar (Pan hard bar) as well, also not really needed.
