I've heard really good things about these
    http://www.innovativebalancing.com/gallery1.htm

You might also want to look into centramatic wheel balancers
    http://www.zaib4x4.com/catalog/produ...oducts_id=5153

I don't know if one works better than the other. I plan on using the beads with my next set of tires, and if those don't seem to do the trick I'll order a set of the centramatics.

Same thing as airsoft bb's and there are charts all over the net that help you figure out how many for the size tire your running.

I use the copper coated bb's you can find at sporting goods stores and for some reason I think Jeff uses them too. I really like them as they constantly balance and I don't have to worry about losing weights offroad. Since I have 35x15, I used a half bottle per tire. I will see if I can find the site after work.

I have airsoft in one set of tires and coated copper bbs in the other. I love both...recommend the airsoft on alloy wheels, and copper bbs are fine for steel. Just my $0.02 worth...hope it helps. No matter what you use or buy, active balancing is the way to go with bigger rubber. It is always adjusting itself so even if you lose part of a lug wheeling or have a wad of mud in your wheels, it is constantly striving to adjust to the perfect state of balance.

    HEY!
talk to me about these, I am loseing wieghts on rocks and of course after chunks of rubber come off the tires give me the DW's now and then.

Are you using (X) OZ's of BB gun BB's? plastic or copper depending on rims??
Do they try and come out when deflating as in clogging the air from coming out?

I'll be using these when I get the new tires also... it seems like I need to re-balance after every trip I make. It's getting old quick.

Here's a chart for tire size and proper weight of pellets to use. This is for the dynabeads, but I'm pretty sure it's the same weight no matter what you use.

Never heard of this before this thread. Sounds like a no brainer once you leave the stock tires behind. I will be having Mountain Valley Customs set me up with this on my next trip up there. Which should be soon, I found money in my pocket and I need to Just Empty Every Pocket !
