Good find
Gotta be one of the best $50 I ever spent! Gov't auction, put in a sealed envelope bid and come home with this cool Jeep trailer.
Built in '65 and the tires are a '68 and a '70. They drove home at 70 no bouncing, pretty incredible IMO. It's a 3/4 ton M101a and appears to have the dump bed ability and locking handbrakes. Yeah it's rough, but certainly can't deny the character. I am not sure what I am gonna do with it yet, but maybe a camping trailer set up. Any ideas?
Amazingly, all the lights and wiring harness are intact and in good shape; BUT it's a 24v system so have to figure that out. Note the Gov't plate #50 (same as the purchase price!)
Just had to share, I think it'll be sweet behind the Jeep next year.
