I have run them before. They worked well for me, but weren't the best in the rain on the road.

I ran them for a year on my TJ that had a 4" lift. I had 33x13.5 15R. They were amazing in mud and water crossings. Their self cleaning is simply astonishing. They grip well in rocks like little hands when aired down. Good tread pattern when aired down also.
Snow 6"+ they were really good off road or on road. I was caught in 2+ft of snow and was able to get through without a problem on the roads. Caught in 4' drift they started to spin but in their defense my front axle was just acting like a plow.
I ran with a detroit in the rear which isn't the best for rain or ice on the roads. I found myself sliding a lot on wet roads and minimal control on a dusting of snow to around 5".
Loud as crap on the road, sounded like someone slapping a fat guys belly a couple hundred times a second. Handled well in high speeds, didn't sway or bend. Side walls are a little thin so around corners the side walls would flatten. I rotated them every 1500-2500 miles and the wear pattern was good.

I pulled two nails out of the tread that never made it through the treat to pierce the tire. I abused the crap out of them and they took as much as I could dish out. I highly recommend them if you will be wheeling a lot, and they look nasty like your going to run someone over with them.

I only switched to BFG's because they were my rock crawling sponsors at the time. They are well worth the $ in my recommendation. The one problem is for a spare they are directional and might cause some problems, but nothing major. Post up a picture when they are mounted!

Ha, I would like to hear a sound bite of the slapping of the fat guy's belly. That was a great phrase. I give you a A+ for it. Really, it was a great description..

When I was stationed in Jacksonville FL, I found out that tirepackage.com and 4wheelparts get their tires from the same warehouse. Not sure if they are connected everywhere but I found that interesting.

Oh, and I have these tires also. 35x12.5 and so far I like them but the only reason I got them was because of the deal I got. I only have one trail run on them so time will tell on whether or not I really like them. Ever since Goodyear came out with the MTRs, I've been running them so this is a little bit of a change. They are definetly louder than the MTRs but as far as offroad, both grip pretty good on Seirra rock.
