    Default Attaching side steps....

alrighty boys (and girls)...i have side steps for me yeep. i'm not crazy about them but they will do till i gets me a new job and can get what i want. i'm tired of my arse getting wet when i get out to go into work....anywho. there are holes in the frame already. they guy i bought the steps from didn't have the self tapping bolts (or nutserts or whatever) and said i could get them at any auto store. well, every store i've been in and asked for them, they look at me like i have antlers. they have no clue what i'm talking about. even the so-called 4X4 store told me i was SOL. can any of ya'll help me out? where can i find them? without having to go to the stealership?

    Default Side steps

You can pick up self-tappers at Home Depot or Lowes. Just measure the holes on the brackets and get the tappers that will fit. However, the side steps don't work well in rocks, as I found out the first time I went to Paragon (Blast from the past). Snapped both of them on good size boulders. Poisen Spyder makes a nice set of Rocker Guards with a step bar attached.
