    Default Winch on craigs list

    I found a winch on craigslist, Warn tabor 9k, the guy says it was on his jeep when he bought it, but never used it. and he says that it has been in his garage for about 1 year. he wants $150 for it... what do yall think? Thanks

    I was just thinking because he had never used it since he had the jeep and it was in his garage for about 1 year

    Tabor is a good winch. Its warns low end winch line, but very good. A 9k usually runs 350-400 new...

    People like me are wishing we could find a deal like that. Think of shipping a $1200 winch via USPS.

    See if he will let you see if it works first. I've seen the solenoid packs go bad with long term outside exposure. It's been in a garage for a year, but what about before that. The replacement packs are cheap enough. It looks like a good buy.

    I agree; walk it over to your vehicle and put the cables on and test it. It is so simple even a Marine could do it! (OK Marines, I know there are a bunch of you on here...if I did not love you guys I would have said Coast Guard but needed the Marine rep to get my point across.)

    Hummm....all the Marines must be at work! I typed that 2 hours ago and only 1 HEAT round and it came from a Fly Boy!
