    anyone on here done this?
    05 Unlimited, RE 4.5, 4.5 springs, adjustable front and rear track bar, 33x12.5 MT Baja Claw Radial, 15x8 MT Classic Locks, 4.88's, Tom Woods rear cv and sye kit superwinch, RRC front bumper, rear bumper with tire carrier, rocker guards, home made 1.5 seat risers

    yeah the hood thing i found this writeup on it and it really dont seem that difficult if you take your time. i was wondering if anyone else out there had done it or is thinking about doing it

    Looks pretty well thought out and documented. Another option would be to do the DIY hood chop and Gen-Right High Line tube front fenders and save 700-800 on the AEV Hood.

    yeah i didnt see that they had the hi fenders, looking into that now, just trying to figure out what will have to change with using prefabed fenders

    It looks cool, but looks like it might take some patients. That's one thing that I lack, not to mention, it would look weird with stock tires.

    I am still running a stock hood (mostly) and a set of my MVC built flat fenders and 40" tires with the equivilent of a 4.5" lift. I have almost 26" under my belly up and a ton of ground clearance under the diffs. I haven't come across a situation where having cut my hood and raised the fenders even further would have helped. Just my .02

    Yeah, but I was running the same setup as I am now with 35s, 36s, and 37s. Same story, different tire.
