    Default wheelin in Bahrain

Well as some already know, i am leaving for bahrain within the next 30-45 days and will be brining the TJ with me! Anyone currently there, or have been there with their jeeps that know of any good places to go out there?

I was stationed there in 03-05 and know the area rather well, but do not know any locations for wheelin. (i didnt have a vehicle there last time)

I've been there a few times.... always in transition from one place to the next, so I never spent more than 2-3 nights there. I couldn't possibly imagine where you would wheel there. There's only 2 types of terrain there.... dry sand and wet sand.
If I were to get orders to Bahrain, I'd leave the jeep with the parents and buy a beater when I got there. With the way people drive there and all the extra per diem, it wouldn't be worth the hassle of bringing the jeep over with me. Not to mention you'll never get that fine dusty sand out of your jeep when you leave.

There's actually quite a bit of wheelin' here, mostly just big sand hills though, and the locals who go are not into it like we are. They just have little street tires and stuff.

There's a few guys who have Jeeps here, so you can hook up with them. What command are you going to????

How long did it take to get your vehicle out there?

Whats your rate??? Thats a pretty cake ass job over here. I didn't ship a vehicle here, I couldn't 'cause evrything I own is either lifted WAY to much, or it's to wide. As long as it will fit in a container you're good to go. It takes anywhere from 30-40 days to get here. You'll definately be better off shipping one here than buying a beater.
