Yeah, swampers definitely advertise a size they tend to fall short on. I had a set of "35's" and when measured they came up to 34. I wasn't happy.
What's the stats of your Jeep? Lift, gears, etc. Would be able to help better.
What are you gaining or loosing by going with 33's vise 35's or in reverse.
I am going to replace my swampers with all terrain BFGoodrich tires, but am thinking about either getting 35's or 33's. im running 33's now, but was told by a fellow jeeper on marylandcreepers.com that the swampers run a bit smaller then your traditional 33.
The overall size difference is about 2'' in diameter so i think i can fit them without rubbing, but am wondering if i even need to bother with the 35's.
What do you all think?

4'' lift. Its a Rubicon so it has the 4:1 gear ratio, with the electronic locks for the axles. But are you gaining anything with 35's is what im asking i guess...

well, you would gain about an inch of clearance going from 33 to 35's...![]()

You will also notice a difference in your ability to push 35"s vs. the 33"s on the highway. As stated above, 35"s will give you one inch more ground clearance, and close the gap between your tire and fender by an inch as well. An inch might not seem like much, but it makes a difference.
