as long as you have mirrors on I don't think youll run in to any trouble.

I run that way from spring to fall. No issues at the following

    Ft Meyer, VA
    Ft Belvoir, VA,
    Ft Leonard Wood, MO
    Arlington Hall, VA,
Henderson Hall, VA. (Marine Base attached to Ft Meyer)

Most bases follow the local state law.

In VA there is no requirement for doors. Two rear facing mirrors are required. I drive around in the summer without doors all the time. Rear view and driver side mirror on a mirror mover bracket.

I've never had any trouble. Make sure your side mirrors are still installed.
