Have you tried calling any local lock smith's yet? I wouldn't think they'd be too expensive to get rekeyed.
Where can I go to find lock cores? I have full hard doors that don't match my jeep. Can I get them keyed to the jeep without costing me an arm and a leg or where can I get cores and an extra key?

Not a bad idea. The doors or the ignition? I shall pursue this.
Good post. I was thinking about getting some half steel doors to replace my full steel doors in the summer and I never thought about the lock being different. I would assume a local locksmith also. Keep us posted. I'm curious now.

I would get quotes on both.
Are your keys gray or black? If they're gray, you have the fancy security key things. The ignition might be costly.
Let us know what kind of prices you find. I'm looking at trading my full steel doors for half doors. I never lock them anyways, but it would be nice to have matching keys.
No fancy shit here. I want to be ABLE to lock it. I dont' usually, but I would like the option. I have a killswitch, so I'm not worried about the jeep going anywhere.
Austere Mobility in a '99 TJ Sport with a few bells and whistles
The bravest of all Spartans was Dienekes. It is said that on the eve of battle, he was told by a native of Trachis that “the Persian archers were so numerous that, when they fire their volleys, the mass of arrows will block out the sun.”
Dienekes, however, quite undaunted by this prospect, remarked with a laugh, “Good. Then we’ll fight in the shade!”
