    Did an oil change today...

Last week I noticed the tab that I had the date and mileage on realized...

The LAST oil change was on 7-11-08 with 112992 miles on the odometer...

the mileage on the Jeep when I did the oil change... 115558

That would be 6 months and only 2,566 miles!!!

Good thing it's my daily driver!!!

I stripped the interior out to prep for major cleaning. Yesterday I fixed my back up lights and cleaned the engine bay.

I went out and bought some simple green and some degreaser stuff. I spent the day trying to clean up the engine compartment and trying to knock the grime off the underside of the jeep so I can work on it again tomorrow.

dirt and crap and is cool, but it is nice being able to see if anything is working loose or does not look right.

Tomorrow I should be trying to remove a bolt that snapped off when I was putting the winch plate on. If time permits, I should be greasing up some stuff and basically just doing everything to get the jeep ready to hit the trails here next weekend.

I rotated the tires and greased my sway bar disconnects. I can't figure out how to grease the upper knuckle ball.

well kinda today and yesterday, more bolts to hold on homemade rocker skids they are TUFF. Added 4 switches and 30amp relays for my rock lights and window lights (100w each), plus since I was at it and it is kinda time consuming I added 2 extra all hooked up for future add-ons. Then put Freds rocks lights wirring in the same way as he mounted the lights (no pics). In the 2nd pic you can see relay NO.4 for switch NO.4 and to the right of it barley see NO.3 numbered for ease and cause I'll forget what it went to.

Scraped and sanded off a bunch of rust spots on my swing away tire carrier and can carriers. Then sprayed them with 2 coats of Rustoleaum 'Rust Reformer'.

Been looking for a better way to control the Ford Contour electric fans on my CJ7, so I picked up a thermostat housing from a 4.0. It has a threaded hole in the side for a sensor, that the 4.2 does not. My Painless thermo switch srewed right in, neat and clean. Eliminated that POC that pushes through the radiator fins.
