Default Jeep to a Sh!t on me

OK First off bear with me as this is part a of rant of my Wonderfull '09 start. Right now I'm about ready to say F' it and give up every thing, the bar is really looking good right now.

Crawled under the Jeep the other day and noticed that both pinion seals are leaking and that the rear had a small drop at the 6 O'clock allen head, I had installed a Warn style Dif. cover. After talking it over with another member, I decided it would be easier to have Joe up at Endless Mountain do the work.

I went to Joe's today to do said work, which was a tad on the cold side(worked on it outside). My feet got cold before anything elsse but then again I don't mind so much. Any how, we start with the front seal, turns out it's on hold for right now cause there's a lot of play in the yoke. So I'm/we're hoping it just the crush sleeve, but m preparing for a rebuild.

We then started on the rear. I'll have to keep an eye on the seal as there was a bit of a groveon the pinion, but the seal is replaced. We then took the rear cover off cleaned it up. Also noticed that the Locker had "marking" on the housing. So we decided it was a problem, replaced the cover and filled it back up. That was a PITA cause of the cold weather.

We laid out our plan and off towards home I go. I get on PA 33 hear a noise in the rear passenger well but thought it might have been just the road. I heard a bang, thought it was the front DS that was disconnected along with the Gas skid banging togther, after hitting a bump. Got out and checked it out but didn't see anything wrong so down the road I go. On the exit ramp of PA 33 going onto 22E, my brake light comes on and it feels like I have a flat. Pull off to the side of the road and here is what I find. See pic below. Call AAA, along with a few others. Now it's home, I need to come up with a new game plan.

Rant over thanks for reading. I'll be at Buddy's for a little bit.

Thanks all. This is just the 3rd "bad news" in 3 weeks. First was I got fired on the 28th. Then the wife is in the hospital for "Booze" poisoning. And now this.
I just have to watch the drinking myself, been down that road before, but man I want to and don't want to stop, makes it hard when a bar is 4 houses down and across the street.

Sorry to hear about all of the bad luck Bro...time to start looking to upgrade. Put up a red star cluster for whatever you need to get her back running and hopefully the crew can get some schwag together to get you back up and running as soon as possible.
Marines...shoot me a PM if you have not received an invitation to the Jarhead Jeepers social group on this site and would like to be a member.
