Nice looking pics. Looks like you guys had a blast. Now that you broke the fender you can upgrade to those MVC flat fenders. Probably wouldnt of broke them.
So yesterday I went up to Rausch Creek for my first wheelin adventure and let me tell you, it was just that.... Attached are some pics I took out of the rig and some pics of my war wounds sustained just prior to crossing rock creek....yeah i know, ouch! There was plently of video and pics taken and I will get those up in my album and share with you all.
All said and done, I had a blast and seen first hand what my rubicon can do, and boy that is one capable jeep!![]()

Nice pics, looks like you had fun.
If you don't plan on replacing the fender flares right away, drill a set of holes across from each other on each side of the break and then just stitch it together with some cable zip ties. Those flares break easy anyway, but with the cold temperature the plastic seems to get even more brittle. I broken mine also against the side of a tree and it broke where they were bolted to the jeep.
thats a great idea. I would like to convert to tube fenders eventually but need to think of how i can mount the side marker lights.
I was trying to get across rock creek, and needed to pass through these two trees in orders to get across, and there was a rock that kept sliding me into the tree.... So i bumped up the rock and got over it, but in result, slammed into the tree...
Any ideas on how to fix the A post frame damage? I was thinking diamond plate a post covers.... ?See those trees in front of me, and the rock! yeah, that is what got me. Video later to come.

Lookin good buddy. Who'd you go with if you don't mind me asking?
Glad to hear you had a good time, even with some trail damage. Do you know what other trails you were on besides Rock Creek? Did you run all of the creek?

I was extremely satisfied with my little jeeps performance at RC as well, especially while I was crossing Rock Creek.
Post your picks in the Camp MJ "Pics of RC" thread.

I went with people that I used to be stationed with at the Naval Academy. One is a DOD cop, and is part of the maryland creepers, and three others who are either Navy, or cops.
My buddy Joe has an XJ, and I am impressed to see his rig keep up. All he had was a lift, and 32'' tires.
