Default My ZJ build plan and est. $, any suggestions?

So I've been reading up a lot on what I want to do to my ZJ. Being on a budget I would have to do this over time. I have estimated this parts list to come out to approximately $5700. I am listing these in order of priority. Would you prioritize them differently and why? Am I leaving out anything important? TIA for any feedback.

    Prices are Approximate:

    suspension: IRO 3.5" $500
tires: Super Swamper TRXUS MT $700
    skid plates: rustys $400
    tow points: rustys $100
    snorkel: safari $500
    roof rack: kevinsoffroad $700
    tubular bumpers: kevinsoffroad $1000
    winch: warn M6000 $500
    lockers: aussielocker $400
    exhaust: borla $400
    headers: doug thorley $500

Skid plates and tow points should share your top spot in my opinion. All the additional clearance will do is make you think you can do harder shit. If I did it all over again, it'd be 1. Protection, 2. Recovery, 3. whatever else follows...

I will try to do the protection/recovery at the same time as the lift and tires...I won't even go off road with the high mileage highway tires on there now.

You dont need tow points if you get kevins tube bumpers, all you need is hooks.

An m6000 is not enough winch for a stranded ZJ. You have alot more load to pull out.

Iron rock Off road seems to have a inexpensive lift kit, I how ever went with RE since i could upgrade it later on down the line.

If you like mud at all I concur.
Here's a pic of mud holding Josh in with the winch he has now, as you can see a 6k would pretty much died in this scene.

Sounds like you have a great plan. I just bought a 98 ZJ, sold my built 95 YJ. So I get to start over.

Skid plates are a must if your going to take it off road at all. You are just about right on with your prices. I have a Warn HS9500 Winch i'm planning on putting on the ZJ, just not sure which winch bumper i'm gonna use. What size tires are you planning on using? If you have the 3.5 lift don't go any larger than 32.

Keep us posted on your progress
