ABSOLUTLY......I have known countless of Rubi owners who put 33's and just as many who put 35's on stock rubi axles and gears. With 4.11's on road you will see a little, VERY LITTLE, drag but you will not ever see it offroad because of the 4-1 TCase
Can a '08 Rubicon Unlimited handle 33'' tires and not have to re-gear? I think I heard somewhere that the Rubi gears were ready to roll with up to 33's.
I came into this world kicking, screaming and covered in someone else's blood. I have no problem going out the same way.

I guess 1st thing.... what trans do you have... auto or stick, 5 or 6spd? You will notice a difference, but it's not unbearable. Your speedo/odo will be off by 10%. If you have an auto it'll be a bit more noticeable than a manual. Driving through hilly area's will make you constantly down shift. Trying to pick up speed on the highway will be more difficult than what you're used to. Turn off the overdrive, that will help a little bit.
Ultimately, I'd start saving up for gears though.
I have an 04 Rubi with 33s and a 5 sp manual. I did not regear and have no problems at all accelerating at highway speeds or climbing hills.
