I looked at a right hand drive TJ Sport at our local dealership in 2007. It was cheap for a new vehicle and my wife and I talked about buying it. It didn't last long enough for us to decide. I still see a guy driving it around on post some times. I think they were special order, maybe for postal service but I am not sure.

RD postal carriers around me use right hand drive XJ's. They may have had them special ordered for them. But they have to buy those them selfs. I was a mail man but retired now. Thank god.

Just read an article that says Jeep introduced the RHD version based on the TJ sport in 2003 and they were primarily for fleet use , but were made available for the public to buy. Its offered with the same features as the LHD but is limited to auto and hard top. I got that out of a book called High Performance Jeep Wrangler TJ Builders Guide 1997-2006. Pretty good reading so far.

Funny thing happened today. I was out shopping and low and behold a RHD JK pulled up next to me at the light. When he started out I saw that his spare tire cover said something about the USPS.
