Default Mount a Transfer Case Skid Plate

    Hey everyone,
Stupid question. I just got a stock TC skid plate from a 97 ZJ. When I went to bolt it up to my frame, alas, no threaded holes! The holes are definitely there but not threaded. Anyone done this before? Suggestions? Maybe some threaded inserts into the frame and crossmember?

    Thanks!
    ALL THE WAY!
    Duke

Nevermind. I think I'm just going to fish some bolts through the frame from the inside and throw a nut on it.

Why not get a tap and dye set and thread the holes yourself?
The hobby shop should have a set there, just match it up to the bolts you're going to mount it with and tap.
It'll be a pain the butt to fish some bolts through, especially if you have to remove it again.

Good point! I'll pick up a tap and dye set and some bolts to fit.
    Thanks!
