Default 5.9 ZJ seats in a TJ

Its been a while since I did anything major to the TJ. The fun continues.....
So I got some seats from a friend on another forum to put into the TJ. A set of black 5.9 seats

I used the setup that was already on them. They were just a tad too close to the steering wheel for me. So I had to move the front bracketry forward about 4 inches.
    Before:

    After:

I had to hook up the power, so that I could adjust the seat. I didn't have any of the factory plug ins, so I just cut the wires at the connectors. Red is power, black is ground. I ran the ground to a mounting bolt, and the power wire went under both seats to the pass side, where I have a second fuse box mounted.

I will hook up the heater parts in the future (maybe). I can live without it, as my vinyl seats didn't have heat either.
I used some 3/16" plate to spread the load on the underside of the body, when I put the bolts through the tub:

I will get some shots of how they are mounted tomorrow.
I only found one drawback to these seats. They are a little too wide. I had to mount the pass side seat a little crooked. Its not facing straight ahead. Its about 10 degrees off. The problem was the back side of the seat was hitting the seat belt, so it wouldn't unspool. So I had to turn the seat, to use the seat belt. Also, the seat belt buckles are a little tight against the center console. All that will be fixed once the cage goes in, eventually.
Here they are ready to ride:

It's not much of a write up, but I thought I'd share with everyone.

No they don't just bolt up. The front mounts don't bolt in vertically, they bolt in horizontally. I'll get some examples posted when I get home from work.

I would love to put a braket in that tilts forward. But not too worried about it now, as my daughter just climbes between the seats to get into the back. When the back seat come out permanantely, I might think about it for access.

A simple misunderstanding gets a lot less simple when you add choppers and a SWAT team.
