    Default Coffee--Lunch?

Anyone like to gather for coffee or lunch in the mid-Maryland area on any upcoming weekends in March-April?

"Garryowen" is the 7th Cav----Although I was at Camp Red Cloud & Casey. 4-7 Imjun Scout. My MOS doens't exist to date. It was 11H10. They pulled me off a Jeep with a mounted 106 and/or 50. Sent me to become a Scout. Ended up as an E5. 13 month tour on the DMZ. It could've been worse. A good deal of my buddies went on to Nam.

    What was your MOS?

ouch, 13 month tour on the DMZ? that had to suck, but still much better than going to 'Nam.... hands down!

i had family go over there, luckily they all came back in one piece too. my mom's husband was a mechanic in korea (not sure his "post") was offered a tour in 'Nam (because he "spoke the language") but turned it down.
never blamed him for that move!!!

where camp garyowen is now is what used to be the marine base camp pellam (sp?) during the war.
