Default WFTW - Wheelers for the Wounded

Jason (WFTW) is going to be starting his trip soon and may not have good internet connectivity during his tour. I know he will be in many states (the events are listed here) and if you are going to one of the events, could you post up some info about that event?

I am going to the event in Texas at the beginning of May along with some others from here, so we will get photos and videos up once that event is done, but it would be cool to read how the WFTW jeep is doing at other events also.

I know some events will have local press on site, so if you stumble upon an article, or other info, post it up. Some of the local clubs that are hosting the events may have some photos posted after their event also.

Here are some links for the Wheelers for the Wounded.

    Since this was brought up

WFTW, Jason is there a Host club still for SMORR for August 09?

I sent a couple emails/threads today seeing if FLW Chapter needed to step in?

maybe the Ozark Mountain 4x4 will answer up, their site has been down for a week or so and one mentioned "liability" in referance to the event I am not sure if it was just that persons view. I know on the preliminary event last month 2 members were there and very happy to be involved (Chuck and Travis)

Good idea for a thread miljeep! It will be difficult for me to post up pictures from all the events (although I'll try to do a few). I'm sure a group of people will have many more pictures than I'll have myself.

Yep, Ozark Mountain 4x4 is the event host for the SMORR event. The P.O.C. name and email is on the WFTW website on the event schedule page.

They were concerned about liability because of something that happened in their past. Apparently someone attended one of their rides and afterwards (after the event was over and they were returning home) they got in a crash and were seriously hurt or something. Anyhow, of course the people who were suing the club lost, but I guess it was still a hassle for them to go through that and so now they are more carefull about hosting events.
