    My 2 dr 6 spd 08 Jk flat tow my 96 Xj for about an hour and a half to the ORV park?

    it COULD but I wouldn't. The XJ out weighs the JK so stopping would be a little rough

    going is always easy stopping is where the issues are created. because your talking flat towing the tounge weight won't be an issue really.

    I personally wouldn't try it

    dang need to figure out what to do then to get my xj to the ORV park then since its not registered and almost positive it wont pass inspections

    Just a quick word based on CT law. No portion of any unregistered vehicle can touch any part of the public highway at any time. Also anything being towed over 2000 lbs requires brakes. Sorry to be a downer but up here your towed vehicle would get impounded and you would possibly be arrested for reckless driving depending on the cop.
    A simple misunderstanding gets a lot less simple when you add choppers and a SWAT team.

    dang looks like my only option is wait till this PFC with a big ass ram gets a weekend off and we trailer it down or get it registered and drive it down....
