Has anyone seen a home made one of these?
Has anyone seen the kit you can buy to put an air filter in the air vent, for internal air?

A good write up on a home made version like you asked for.

From looking at the "store bought" part, it would seem you could buy an aftermarket vent cowl and then find a rectangular filter to fit inside it. Seems that would be a lot less work than the other homemade solution offered.

Hmmm, probably wouldn't help my CJ, as the top and doors are off it all summer![]()

Thanks. It sucks when there are people allergic to dust.
Ouch! That does stink.
With all the new 'flat' style air filters out there now, I bet you could find one to fit the cowl opening.
Get the measurement and hit the parts store. I've never had them yell at me for going through the filters, as long as I put them back in the box and back on the shelf. (I'm always looking for the tallest 9 or 10" round filters for my CJ)
