I had a '79 Cherokee Chief. Hope these help if you don't already have them.
ok i have a 77 j20 i am trying to figure what type of suspension would be the best for the terain that i am trying to conquer, but when i try to find any one that has modified their j20's or wagoneers there is not to much out there. i plan on going full custom unless there is someone out there that knows of a website that will send me in the right direction.

lifted springs and spring-overs is what most of us do. These big boys are kind of cumbersome for intense rock crawling. I run a 6" all spring lift (from BJ's) and have 33x12.50's (for now). I had to chop a little fender too. I'm happy with it. Check out my albums if you want to see how it looks.
