Looks sweet, but when it comes to the water, I'll stick with my snorkel as it is EASY to get a wake rolling over the entire hood.
I'm not to much of a snorkle guy, seen my share of them ripped off in close encounters with trees, also not much of a mud hole guy so I was looking for a hood intake system that would allow me to get some fresh air without breaking the bank.
I found this system:

I liked the ease of installation, everything fit up good and found it on 4WD for 100.00 less than TMD or the other sites. Paint was around 100.00 but I'm netting aprox 14 miles to a tank more and should pay for itself soon. I didnt use the gasket provided that fit between the scoop and hood but fit up was fine and the enclosed body panel sealant did the trick for bonding to the hood. 4 small holes and 1 4.5 inch hole and was done with installation in about 45 minutes.
Pictures of the under the hood duct work can be found on the TMD web site

I'm with you on the water rolling up the wind shield, I've been there couple of times, This connects to the horn on the factory air box so I also have the option of turning the horn to not use the scoop. But thought I'd throw this one up, I havnt seen any other than mine.

looks good, I dont run a snorkle and my stock air box is gone. But I bet a Jeeper could get the scope to line up with the top of the TB. Still wouldnt keep water from the hood wake but a little better.
Update:
This scoop has worked out Pretty well, 1 mile per gallon gain in town and between 3 and 4 on the highway during road trips, fresh air on the trails. I notice the price doubled on the 4wd hardware site though and its now around $300.00 dont ask me why? I paid 150.00 + shipping in January.
