IMHO, you dont need a console to put a CB inside of it has a perfectly good casing around it. Take the $$ you would spend for it and buy a front roll bar kit. Then mount your CB on the spreader bars. You will be adding a much needed saftey feature to the rig and have your mount The PSC (yeah I know they went out of bizz, but they have been bought out and are opening back up under new ownership) trail cage was like 299.00 for a TJ and the tuffy is 225 for a single radio holder. If your looking for dirt cheap for now, make your own tie bar to go between the factory spreader bars and use a piece of sheet metal between the two to bolt into.

I have my CB mounted on my OrFab spreader bars, works fine, but on the highway it really needs an exterior speaker to be used...or I need a better CB Off road it works great and I have the mic cord wrapped around the spreader so nothing hangs down in the way.
