Since this happened in Texas, my club back home (Lone Star Jeep Club) offered to help repair his Jeep and do the repair work. He became a member but only posted a few times and I don't think we have heard too much from him. I never did see what happened to his Jeep. Thanks for the link.
I sent some stuff to him and contacted him via the information I had, but no contact from him as of this time. He even has our email here and the website.
