Red face Rookie Jeeper Questions for Camp MJ

I have a stock JK. I've never been out with a group.

A buddy who can't attend said a CB is a must, is that true?
Will bringing my boys be a problem?
Are there and 'trail ettiquite' things I need to know?

While it's not required, a CB is a good thing to have. This will be helpful to hear all the chit chat. There are various styles that you can buy, Quick and easy would be a handheld CB, they can be found on ebay for about $30. RFS radios are also an option, they're about $50 for 2 at Target and places like that. Then the CB that is traditional, mounted in the cab area. Choices are endless, truck stops or a cb shop would be able to get you set up with all that is needed. White Dotte on Rte 206 and Rte 38 is a great place to deal with, bring the wife and kids along and they can get Ice Cream right next door.

Bringing your boys on the ride is perfectly fine, as long as there are seat belts for them.

Check out www.rc4x4.org for their trail rules and regulations. There is also the forms for your membership and waivers, for both your boys and yourself to down load. As expressed in other threads having your paperwork filled out ahead of time will make checking in go smoothly.
