Assuming you have a TJ, there should be a latch at the top center of the back seat, lift up on that and push the top forward.... it should just roll up.
I am having problems flipping my back seats forward...Can anyone explain how to get it forward..? Thanks

Plural? Got pics? If it's a factory seat, the latch is in the middle right at the top of the seatback. If reaching from the front seat, grab the top of the back seat right in the middle and pull the latch. The whole seat is spring loaded and will fold up and fold forward.
yeah, my tj never had a latch in the middle of the back seat. it was a latch down on the bar on the lower left hand side.
Older TJs have a latch on one of the lower corners and the newer ones have the latchin the top center of the seat back. You also have to make sure that your front seats are far enough fwd to tumble the rear seat
