The bottom should be threaded to allow you to attach your cable/hook it up to your antenna mount.
Don't forget to tune it before turning everything on.
I bought a firestik firefly, and on the bottom it doesnt have a coax wire plug in.. Can any one help me figure this out..?

I think mine just screws into the mount, then I have the cable running from the mount to the cb and to a ground.
ok there is a adapter that you need the whip screws in to the top and the cable screws into the bottom some brackets that you buy will have this or if not. like mine i had to go buy a cheap bracket from radio shack and take the adapter out of it. the do not just screw together
