I love my mt/r's it only depends how many miles a year you drive.
So, I was on the verge of buying four 31x10.50x15 Goodyear Wrangler MT/Rs tomorrow when all of a sudden my wife says to me that a fellow Jeeper that she works with said she had the same tires on her 01 TJ and the tires only would last a year. I havent ever heard of any problems with these tires until now. Does anyone out there have any advice on a good 31x10.50x15 tire for a daily driver/very mild trails. Need new tires this week. My current tires are getting bad. Thanks in advance for the help.

BFG or Trxus (spelling) in my opinion. I've had both, love both. There's a reason that Jeep started using BFG's on their rubi's off the lot....
yea because the MT/R was to radical of a tire

They're using BFG MT/R's. Same degree of aggression, just a competitor. They still use Goodyear street tires on the sahara's and x's.
This might be a stupid thought but I thought the Rubi came with Goodyears. What BFG compares to the MT/R?

they use to use MT/R but they are now using bfg KM2 I believe which is a pretty good tire.

The 2009 rubi's i were looking at were still using first gen BFG MTR's. i thought it odd that it was that way because of the KM2's, but figured that they were probably a contract model and had a specific number produced especially for Chrysler
probably
