    That's cool!

    I updated my RTT:

    Complete w/annex:

Have to get the RTT to sit at 6' to 6'6" when deployed, so the annex is useful.

Yet keep it near the lid when towing.

why not get a set of these:http://www.factoryramps.com/products...minilifts.html

then for the tounge you could have a small tripod for the tounge jack to cradle into..(much like this)

    only shorter of course...
total weight would be less than 75 pounds and could be mounted just about anywhere..
i saw it once before on a different type of trailer but it worked really well...
you would have to come up with a lock mechanism to keep the trailer from rolling off the ramps though.
perhaps straping the tires to the ramps like you would on a car dolly..
it's better to keep your mouth shut and let everyone think your an idiot than to open your mouth and prove it!!!!

    Trailer has parking brakes!

I need about 2' of lift on the RTT, and I still want to be able to access the trailer.

There's a guy here in MN that has built a lift using some air struts, that works really well.

Just need to come up with the scratch to pick up the materials.

    Here's his vid:

He uses an ATV winch to pull it back down.

Sold it to a guy in my local club.

He wanted it from the first time he saw it, even made me an offer then! Told him he had first dibs if I ever sold it.

Little did I realize, that six years later, he still wanted it! He had just finished building a small trailer, after not finding a decent M416 around here (for under $1K) and had been researching tents.
