Default Made an ammo can console

I finally had some time today to make it! Came out great too. I like it a lot better than the stocker. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be too. I used a 20mm can, a few nuts and bolts, and a little rubber tube i found in the basement. I used that to line the edges where the parking brake comes out.

And now, I finally have *some* degree of security in there. Here are some pics:

So did you cut the bottom for e-brake lever clearance or was there enough room? I would also recommend maybe using some hook and pile tape to add a cushion to the top of the box that would double as an armrest and an elbow saver while wheeling off-road I think it came out pretty slick.

I did cut the bottom. The ebrake handle actually comes through the front of it. I was thinking of making a pad for it but to be perfectly honest, its just as comfortable as the stocker. No sharp edges, just rounded. If I do find it to be painful later on, you'd better believe I'll make one

Looks good bud, but did you have to destroy the Jp Magazine? Lol. We have a guy here who did a couple cans for his shifter and his twin sticks. Basically his whole middle console now that I think of it. He used a 20mm and .50 Cal can butted together. Again good job. I use a couple .50 cal cans in the back of my TJ for recovery stuff.

Sure! Here's one of the cutouts I made. This is before I did any finishing work on the edges. I also took a small rubber tube, cut it down the middle, and attached it with silicone to the area where the ebrake comes through the front. You can see the back side of it in the pic. The mounting bolts I just drilled though and bolted from the underside.

Must be an optical illusion, but in the first set of photos it looked like the u-bolt was horizontal and I was trying to figure out how or why you did that as it meant not being able to open the can...not I see that it is in fact vertical I may have to do that with the mortar can I have in one of my Jerry can holders where I store my chains and other stuff.
