Go for it. Even though it's only a one year difference it's a big difference. The JK's are great and a lot better than the TJ, sorry to say and are a lot more family friendly.
This JK looks pretty nice with some nice mods already. So buy it, enjoy it and as time and money permit make your own mod's, no rush. JK's are pretty dang good right out of the box.
I just bought my LJ and will have to wait a while to start moding it, but eventually it will be modified.

I would not ... you will not enjoy 35's without gears on the highway, being it is not a rubicon you will not have the 4:1 reduction and therefore you will again, be quite disappointed. I owned a JK with 35's and no gearing. On the highway it was unpleasant at times.
It you are having reservations, I'd hold off. The JK Unlimited is nice and all, but after mine was lemon lawed, my wife has admitted she enjoys driving my TJ more than her JK.
did it come form the factory with a tow package if it did it will have 4.10 gears
well I talked to the wife, and she said I can get it after she gets a new suburban. If that is the case then I wont nedd the extra room.Oh well I love my TJ and would hate to see it go

I voted yes because if you have a 4 door then the wife can't make you get rid of it calling it "impractical" Plus who said you can't upgrade gears if you don't like how it drives with the tires?? Complaining about something thats easily changable doesnt make for a good arguement. But having 4 doors is a VERY good arguement

Afriend of mine traded a built TJ 4.0L 5 spd on a 14 bolt and D60 with 42's and a Street 4.0L 5 spd TJ on 35's even up for a JK 4 dr on 33's and he couldn't be happier. He loves the JK. So I'd trade if your sig is up to date and that's all that's done to your TJ: 06 tj 2.4L 3" lift 32x11.50's - You'll be way ahead.
