    USMC 1st aid kit

my CLS bag is hanging from the bar. with the top on obviously this is no problem -but what's the best way to ensure grabby hands stay off it and out of my jeep? i was thinking zip ties but i dont know if that's the best deterrent. any ideas (other than sleeping under my jeep with a blowhorn or gun, of course)

Thats a hard one. Anything not really locked up can be stolen from a Wrangler. First aid kits, flashlights, fire extinguishers - all commonly stolen from Jeeps.

I keep mine locked up in the Tuffy drawer.

Yep, I don't leave anything in my Jeep I don't expect to get stolen over night.

Do you really need both Jerry cans? I mean five gallons will get you 75 - 80 miles off road. What I did was take one of my Jerry cans off and mounted a ammo can in it's place. 82mm Mortar I think it what I used. I have it secured with a cable lock, but I am thinking of modifying it like the center consol set up with a u-bolt and pad lock. A CLS bag should fit fine in there.

good idea. i have both because i've used both! i carry gas for myself and the others wheeling with me- and it has been usefull in the past. maybe i should tell others to take their own gas though and replace with a can. i dont really have access to ammo cans though- i am fapped to the gym now

Tickwomp, funny, other then emptying a Jerry can into my Jeep in the driveway so I could re-fill it with fresh Gasoline I too have mostly used mine to help out other Jeepers as well. I bought my ammo can at a local Army/Navy Surplus store near the base and keep the receipt in the glove box incase I ever get challenged about where it came from.
