What's a good M/T tire. I really like the Baja Claws but they are directional, and I'm not really sure what to get. Throw out your suggestions. Also anywhere in Northern Va sell 35 in. tires or will quadratec or other internet store be better?

I looked on the net for coupons for jcwhitney and found and used a 20% off coupon. I got my MT Tires and wheels for a lot cheaper than Quadratec. you just have to look for the coupons and then add the items to your basket and see if the coupons are still valid.

I'm going to get re treads. They're 95 dollars a tire for 35's at treadwright.com. That's ~500 bucks for a set of five. There's some good reviews if you go to the site, they'll redirect you to magazines who tested them at moab and such.

I had a set of the New kuhmo's they are directional but they can be run either way. They worked awsome in the mud and sand never had them in the rocks though. Tire rack has them and there shipping is very reasonable and quick.

I have 33x12.50 Goodyear Wranglers M/T on my YJ. I really like them other than the price. Not sure if you know it or not but Sears price matches anyone. I took a Quadratec catalog in and they price matched it. I saved around thirty bucks on the rim not to mention the shipping. You also can't beat BFGoodrich tires either. I have BFG's A/T's on my truck and my wife Grand Cherokee all price match by Sears no kidding. I'll attach a pic of the YJ not sure if you can see the tread pattern or not. They do whine alot!!! Good luck!!!

I found the Nitto Mud Grapplers to be a great tire. Though loud on the highway, the performed great in the sand, mud, and on rocks.

How was the tread life though? I read on pro reviews that since they were so soft, they didn't last very long comparitively.
