Default need help re doing jeep liberty front end

i am thinking about redoing my front end on my jeep (so that i can lift it up more than 3 inchs lol) but i have little to no idea how the hell to do it and i dont even know what all i will need. I found a front axel for a 1995 jeep wrangler and i think that might work any ideas?

Yes it can be done but it is time consuming and expensive. KJs are unibody and IFS (independent front suspension), so you can't just sling a solid axle under it, connect the control arms and call it good. When my wife had her '05 Renegade, I was going to SAS it but after looking at all of the variables and potential issues we traded her KJ in for a TJ. If you have limited mechanical knowledge and little fabrication skill, this is not a swap I would recommend you tackling by yourself.

    I agree.

You could probably keep your KJ and get a good 5 or 6 year old TJ for what it would cost to do the swap. And you'd get a topless jeep for the summer too.

I didn't mean to discourage you if you have the desire and ability to do this. Go over to the LOST KJ website and look for the Gila Monster thread under Solid Front Axle Conversion for some info. I don't know how to put up a link to it.

It takes alot of fab skills and money, esp. on a unibody. Read these, some people are doing it.
