    Default Bumper Ends

I have a 05' TJ and its all stock but im saving up for the lift and new tires and rim's but for right now i just want to remove the plastic bumper ends, the truck is from michigan so obviously its seen alot of salt so i soaked the bolts and got 3 out of 4 bumper ends came off, but the rear drivers side on the bottom the screw just spins... i would like to keep it pretty much intact because i would like to get a little bit out of them to someone who likes them and would like newer ones. the screw, screws into a "body clip"? just a metal clip with a nut kinda welded to it. how could i go about getting it off?

when i had that trouble with my first jeep i just kicked the bumper ends around till they broke off. but then i wasnt worried about using them again. or you could just cut the screw.

My 99 TJ had pretty rusted screws too. I drill several out and then broke the bit. After that I just took the sawzall and cut the plastic. Then I just pulled the remaining plastic out from the inside. Don't worry about the screws just cut them off. If you happen to nick the bumper just give it a quick shot of flat black spray paint. Good as new.
