What pisses me off more than these idiots (and yes, I think they're idiots) is the fact that the press hardly ever give any positive stories about wheelers.

And they have the gall to call these idiots "Enthusiasts"?! Bunch of drunken, disrespectful idiots is what they are! And it only takes a few of them to ruin it for a whole lot of us!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about mudding, just about how and where these idiots did it. There's plenty of legal places to mud/wheel without hurting the enviorment, places that can handle the 'sustainable impact' of wheeling.

Unfortunately, with people like these out there, those places will become fewer and fewer.

Tread Lightly, and have fun! And when you see someone do something like these people did, educate them! (if you can do so safely, some of these idiots are untrainable)

I hope the Judge throws the book at them, and doesn't take it out on all wheelers!

These guys are the reason that our recreation areas are getting smaller and smaller. I do however think that the forest service has done the right thing. If they start hitting the people who are wheeling illegally, maybe they can get them to change their ways. Maybe this will also help to keep the tree-huggers down a little.

Its the amount of money in labor and materials it will take to fix the damage the illegals caused. We had a case like this a number of years ago up here, some fined and some went to prison.

However, it is correct that this is why wheeling is getting smaller and keeping its bad reputation. Instead of doing the right thing and staying on designated trails/areas, actions like these ruin it for everybody.

Way to go giving the media even more ammo! Why can't people just follow the rules and be responsible for their actions? Why destroy things and run the risk of ending it all for others?

The courts should let off roaders who do it right impose the penalties.

First - Monetary fine to repair the damaged to the forest.
Second - Watch as a welder takes their rides apart with a torch bolt by bolt

It's about time that peole start to turn these asxhxxes in. They are ruining it for all of us who obey they rules and enjoy the outdoors.

There are area's to mudd bog if you want to, use those area's. I almost wonder if the tree huggers aren't doing this on purpose to try and get these area's closed or do we have that many asxhxxes out there.

I personally now carry a camera for just this purpose.
