OK, I picked up my new set of Moabs today, and the plan is to either paint or powder coat them.

    Which is the better option?

For me.. it would be a question on what kind of environment they'll be in. If you're gonna run them on trails and bash 'em up... paint them. That way if you screw them up... a touch up is easy. If they're more for cruising, then powder coat is the way to go. Just my .02.

    Paint em.
Take your time on cleaning and prepping. Put 2-3 coats of wheel paint and a coat of clear on them. They should hold up pretty decent.
Now if you know how to powder coat, you could probably do them 1 at a time in your oven. I wouldn't pay a shop to do them though.
