Default Brown Dog Motor Mounts ~ AMERICAN MADE!

Back in Dec I needed new motor mounts and I have herd nothing but great stuff about Brown Dog motor mounts ...
Got them and was more then impressed by them...

Like a normal guy I did not read the directions at install ... after a day or 2 I actually read through them and they state to be very careful not to over tighten the bolts ... so I went back and check and of course i did so i backed them off ...
we recently i noticed the drives side bushing was toast ... and I attributed it to my own stupidity ...
So today I ordered a new set of bushing ...

Well with in a half hour of ordering I get a call from them and he was curious as to why i ordered new bushings so quickly cuz he wants to stand by his product ...

After explaining what happening he then explained there was an issue with the drivers side motor mounts on XJs and he had since redesigned. He then proceeded to tell me to make sure everything is right he was going to cancel my order and send me a new motor mount on "warranty"

Not only did he go out of his way to find out what happened but made it right even after i said i believed it to be my own stupidity.

thats why I buy American Made

He and his products are awesome. I have his 1" MML on my YJ and will soon be getting the same for my LJ. Great products and great customer service.

And he puts an American flag sticker on everyone of them!

Does he have a web site?
81 CJ7, 30 over 258, did the Weber thing now I'm going with a Howell injection kit, 2.5 lift, SRS, and the all important M998 instrument panel with Equus gages. Also have a 71 AMC 360 to rebuild when I kill the 258.

Well, we are just gonna have to do a mass email campaign to hurry him along, eh?

    Thumbs up

I have to agree!!!. I have been running with Brown dog MMTS for 2 years. I had an issue with my first set not fitting because of my aftermarket manifold. well he just kept on making mounts until they finall fit righ and he did not charge me for any thing other that the original mounts. Way to awesome.

Sweet...nice to know there are people that still stand behind their products.

I actually never heard of this product until the other day when I came across a link on NAXJA. I will be ordering a set for the TJ, and when the new XJ gets into the driveway, it'll have a set also.

Sounds like it is a great product, backed by a great guy.

They do have great products, have installed them for a few friends over the years, and do plan on ordering them for my XJ, but am glad to hear that there are a few companies still out there that stand behind their products, even if it is believed to have been your fault!!! Def. going to be a set in my XJ after this upcoming deployment!!
