I am about to do one. I rode in a buddies jeep with one and loved it. And they make great rock sliders. Just inch up to the rock and use the front hanger to slide up it if your not tall enough to clear.
Has anyone done a shackle reversal (front axle) on their Jeep?
I'm looking mainly for DIY information, pics, stuff you would do differently if you had to do over, etc. This would be preformed on my CJ5.
Thanks,
Later, T.J.

Did it on my 7. Best $100+ bucks I've spent yet. I got mine from 4 Wheel Parts. It is a copy of one of the major brands and made by Genuine Steel. I did do a slightly different rear mount. Instead of welding the hangers on the frame that came with the kit, I got a couple of FSJ Wagoneer front shackles and bolts. It leveled the front end a little bit more and gives a smoother ride. The only I needed to do was shave some of the bushings so they would fit in the FSJ shackles and notch out about 1/4" to get rid of minor binding.
81 CJ7, 30 over 258, did the Weber thing now I'm going with a Howell injection kit, 2.5 lift, SRS, and the all important M998 instrument panel with Equus gages. Also have a 71 AMC 360 to rebuild when I kill the 258.
Yep, sure do...on my dead computer at home. I don't know if I can salvage them and I can't upload any from work. I am working on the wife for a new computer though so hang in there, they may come sooner than later.
