Default 06 Ruby front diff lock sensor

some punk kid cut the wires on mine while vandalizing the rest of my rig as well.

I have a replacement coming in a week or two. in the mean time, I want to run some inline splices in it to get it running.

both wires are plain black. I cannot find a wiring diagram. is this a simple resistance circuit and I can wire them either way?

Don't want to fry my locker module by assuming something here.....

    TIA

Hook a multimeter to the ones coming from the module and switch the locker on and see if any voltage comes out of either side. Hook one lead to each of the locker wires with your meter grounded. Flip the switch and watch for any voltage. Then do the same for the other wire. I have no idea how it works, but that is where I would start. I will look in my FSM for a diagram for it.

Here is everything from the FSM for the front locker. Since my pdf printer is acting up, here are screen captures. This is for an '05, but according to this one of the wires should be violet/white and one should be black.

    Thanks Jason...

Your diagram confirms what someone on my other board told me.

can wire it up either way i suppose then.. thanks.

By the way, those pics are really good to have.. going to print those guys out.. where did you say you pulled those from? I could find the one that showed the locker module before, but not the one including pump wiring and sensor stuff....

Got it all directly from the factory service manual.

Do a search on here for FSM.
