I was talking to him earlier, he made it sound like it was the pedal.

Throw out Bearing. I just went through this and replaced my clutch this week. When you push the pedal in it makes a nasty squealing sound? That is it. Everything else inside pressure plate, clutch disc and pilot bearing looked fine. My throw out bearing ate itself up. Since I had everything out I replaced all.

throw out bearing. I am going to be replacing my whole setup on saturday. Just like Marinedawg said. My as well replace the whole thing since I gotta pull it all out to get to the bearing. I went for the LUK for an 02 TJ 4.0 ($154).
