    Default Marriage & Jeeps

I took this from a recent post on CJ-8.com. But it was so important I wanted to make sure the word was out on how to handle these situaltions

After you get past the first pages "test" question, this page http://vernco.com/id434.htm has links to:

    Please heed it's author's warning:
"DIRE WARNING: I have been besieged with horrific stories from many a guy who has shown the following to his wife, thinking she'd get a good laugh. These poor guys are now trapped in a vicious cycle of having to act like considerate, loving husbands with no Jeep parts to show for their efforts. SHOW THIS TO YOUR WIFE AT YOUR OWN RISK! "

This author's personal story is also pretty interesting:

Hell, I'm one of those guys and my wife hasn't seen the list. I love her to death until the word Jeep, Jeep parts, "This would be cool", or heaven forbid "I really need this part to replace the 20+ year old original" enters any and I mean any conversation.
81 CJ7, 30 over 258, did the Weber thing now I'm going with a Howell injection kit, 2.5 lift, SRS, and the all important M998 instrument panel with Equus gages. Also have a 71 AMC 360 to rebuild when I kill the 258.

My girlfriend now doesnt understand the obsession, however to her credit and love for me she supports me. Best thing is I dont hae to ask (for now) to do anything with my Jeep.

I will not Tiptoe through life only to arrive safely to my death, with no scars or stories to tell. I will enter Hell sideways in a Burning pile of rubble, with a smile on my face asking if I can do it again !???

still never tell them the price
If it can't be fixed with 100 MPH tape, 550 cord, zip strips, and a hammer it can't be fixed
